Accord top-priority to solve the people’s grievances- Minister Balkar Singh

Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh on Monday exhorted the officers/employees to accord top-priority to solve grievances of people.

     Addressing the gathering after the bhog of Sri Sukhmani Sahib, organized by the staff of PSPCL to welcome the New Year here at Shakti Sadan today, the Minister asked them to take necessary steps and ensure problems being faced by the people get resolved instantly. He said that their applications must be settled at the earliest so that they do not face any sort of inconvenience in availing services. He said that by solving the people’s grievances, will boost their confidence in the government and department.
Patting the PSPCL department, the Minister said that despite shortage of staff, the department in the Doaba region ensured 24-hr power supply during the summer and expressed hope that the trend needs to be upheld in the coming year also.
    Earlier, Chief Engineer Er Ramesh Lal Sarangal and others welcomed the Minister on the occasion.
