Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht summons CM Bhagwant Mann to appear at Akal Takht in Gurbani telecast matter
Amritsar: Acting Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand has directed Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to appear before him on June 28 at 11 am, terming it as interference in the gurbani kirtan broadcast case.
Talking to reporters outside the Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat here today, he said that Bhagwant Mann was well aware of the Sikh maryada, but with regard to the broadcast of Gurbani, he had directly interfered in the affairs of the Sikhs, which would have hurt the sentiments of the Sikhs.
He said that Bhagwant Mann, Punjab CM, has been summoned at Sri Akal Takht Sahib at 11:00 am on 28.06.2023 to give his explanation in this regard and not coming to Sri Akal Takht Sahib would also be considered as a violation of the Sikh Path.
