After HC orders to open Shambhu border, farmers union to march to Delhi tomorrow
Chandigarh: Following the High Court’s order to open the Shambhu border, the BKU (Sidhupur) has announced to march from Dabwali Morcha to Delhi on July 16 and has started packing goods from the morcha. With this decision of the organization, thousands of people of the border area, who have been facing traffic problems due to the vehicles of the farmers standing on National Highway 9 for five months, will get rid of this problem.
Harbhagwan Singh Lambi, general secretary of Block Lambi, said that at 11 am tomorrow, the farmers will march to Delhi. The decision to march to Delhi was taken at a meeting held by the leadership of three districts of BKU Sidhupur — Sri Muktsar Sahib, Fazilka and Bathinda — late last evening, he said.
