Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh hospitalised

Amritsar: Giani Raghbir Singh, jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, was admitted to the hospital after he complained of severe body pain. This information was given by his personal assistant today.

Jathedar Raghbir Singh was admitted to the Guru Ramdas Institute of Medical Sciences on Wednesday night and was diagnosed with the viral infection during a medical examination, his personal assistant Talwinder Singh Buttar said.

He said that the health of the Akal Takht Jathedar is being continuously monitored by a panel of doctors.
