Akali Dal to suffer another setback, Dimpy Dhillon set to leave the party!

Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) may face another significant blow as party leader Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon is reportedly on the verge of resigning, according to sources.

Dhillon, the SAD in-charge for Gidderbaha, has twice contested against Congress leader Raja Warring on behalf of SAD.

The political dynamics in Gidderbaha have intensified with an upcoming by-election, prompting increased activity from SAD president Sukhbir Badal in the constituency.

There were expectations that Dimpy Dhillon might be declared the candidate for the by-election, but the announcement has yet to be made, leading to growing dissatisfaction on Dhillon’s part, fueling speculation about his exit from the party.

It is speculated that SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal may contest the elections himself or his cousin Manpreet Singh Badal may rejoin the Akali Dal and he would be fielded from Gidderbaha while. Dimpy Dhillon may join the AAP.
