Akali leaders accused of pressuring Singh Sahiban and distorting ‘Hukamnama’ of Akal Takht
Jalandhar: Leaders of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) have been accused of pressuring Singh Sahiban and allegedly manipulating the intent of the December 2 directives.
Holding a press conference here, rebel leaders of Akali Dal said that their contribute significantly to the ongoing discord within the Panth.
Giani Raghbir Singh, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has repeatedly issued clear instructions urging the SAD to adhere to the Hukamnamas without deviation.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that Shiromani Committee members are not authorized to investigate Giani Harpreet Singh. Despite these warnings, the investigation continues, openly violating the directives of Singh Sahiban.
The situation has raised concerns within the Sikh community, with many alleging that Akali leaders are acting against Sikh principles and the concept of Miri Piri.
Once again, the Panth and the global Sikh community are looking to Sri Akal Takht Sahib for decisive action. Many await a clear and authoritative directive to counter what is being described as unprincipled behavior, Akali rebel leaders said during the press conference.
