Anil Boparai assumes charge as new District Attorney Prosecution Jalandhar

Jalandhar: New District Attorney (Prosecution) Jalandhar Anil Boparai today assumed office here at district court complex, Jalandhar.

After taking the charge, the District Attorney said that he will accord top priority to further speed up prosecutions in pending court cases so that timely justice could be delivered to parties concerned. He reinforced that strict punishment would be sought through law of court against those who have committed crimes.

Mr. Boparai had joined the department in 2006 as Assistant District Attorney (ADA) and was promoted as Deputy DA in 2016, afterwards he has served as Dy. DA (Legal/Administration)  Kapurthala. After promotion he had joined as District Attorney SBS Nagar. 

He also said that no stone would be left unturned to ensure timely completion of prosecution in pending cases so that cases could be matured before the courts in due period. 

The DA further mentioned that he would remain available for the public in his office, where they can seek his assistance during office hours adding that regular review would also be held to expedite the legal process.
Earlier, he was welcomed by Ravi Sareen DA (Admin), DDA Maneet Duggal, Rishi Bhardwaj ADA, Arvind Sahae ADA, Satnam Singh ADA, Manoj Shoor ADA, Anil Gill ADA and Amanpal Singh ADA.
