Anurag Dalal elected vice-president of NSUI, Archit Garg elected vice-president of PU

Chandigarh: The results of the Panjab University Students’ Council elections for 2024 have been declared. Independent candidate Anurag Dalal emerged victorious in the presidential race, defeating his closest competitor, Prince Chaudhary of the CYSS, the student wing of the Aam Aadmi Party.

In the other key positions, Archit Garg from NSUI was elected as Vice-President, Vanit Yadav of INSO secured the Secretary post, and Jaswinder Rana from ABVP was elected as Joint Secretary.

In the presidential race, Anurag Dalal garnered 3,434 votes, followed by Prince Chaudhary with 3,129 votes. Arpita Malik of ABVP received 1,114 votes, while Rahul Jain of NSUI secured 497 votes.
