Arvind Kejriwal to cut short his Punjab visit on second day, to return to Delhi shortly: Report
Chandigarh: Arvind Kejriwal is on a two-day visit to Punjab after being released from jail in Delhi. Kejriwal was scheduled to visit Shri Ram Teerth in Amritsar on Friday, but his schedule changed at the last moment.
He will now leave for Delhi directly from Amritsar in a few hours, sources said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will leave for road shows in Hoshiarpur and Kartarpur.
Earlier, Kejriwal stayed in Amritsar for the night, with CM Mann also staying with him. In the evening, most of the candidates from Punjab were called to Amritsar, where they discussed the current situation in Punjab.
They also discussed strategies to adopt in the coming days. Senior leaders of Congress and BJP will visit Punjab in the coming days, and a plan has been formulated to address this situation.
