Arvind Kejriwal to pay obeisance at Golden Temple in Punjab today, to hold a road show
Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who came out of jail on interim bail in the Delhi liquor policy case, will come to Punjab today. Kejriwal will sharpen the AAP’s election campaign after paying obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
At 6 pm, he will hold a roadshow in Amritsar in favour of party candidate cabinet minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal. He will be accompanied by Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.
This is Kejriwal’s first visit to Punjab after coming out of jail. He had visited Punjab before his arrest in March. On March 12, he launched AAP’s election campaign in Mohali. He was arrested by the ED on March 21. Since then, CM Bhagwant Mann himself was commanding the election in Punjab.
