Patiala News: A video of a Sikh elderly man being beaten up with a stick by a policeman under a flyover near the old bus stand in Patiala has gone viral. After this video reached Patiala SSP Varun Sharma, he took strict action and suspended the said policeman.
Disclosing this here today, SSP Varun Sharma said that the Punjab Police is fully committed to the safety of every citizen, so they have suspended assistant SHO Sham Lal, who had beaten up the elderly man with a stick. The investigation is underway into the matter.
