Bharat Bandh: 117 places jammed in 23 districts of Punjab today

Chandigarh: The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and national trade unions have called for a Bharat Bandh today. After the third round of talks failed, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, non-political and Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee has decided to sit on the Punjab-Haryana border. With the bandh call, people have been urged not to go out unnecessarily.

Farmer leaders clarified that these bandh calls are from 6 am to 4 pm. Despite this, farmers will also block every main road from 12 to 4 pm. During this time no vehicle has been allowed to go. In Punjab, 37 farmer organizations and trade unions of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha will hold sit-ins at 117 places in 23 districts across Punjab. During this time, the road will be blocked at all 117 places.
