Bhupesh Baghel to visit Punjab on February 28 after Congress appointment

Chandigarh: Bhupesh Baghel, recently appointed as the Congress in-charge for Punjab affairs, will begin his first visit to the state on February 28.

He will pay obeisance at The Darbar Sahib in Amritsar before formally assuming his role in the Punjab Congress.

Baghel will then hold meetings with party leaders in Chandigarh on March 1. Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa and Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring had earlier met the former Chhattisgarh chief minister in Delhi.
