Big decision: Shiromani Akali Dal will not contest by-elections

Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has decided not to contest by-elections to four Assembly seats in Punjab.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the party’s working committee and district presidents. This was confirmed by Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema. Further details are awaited.
