BJP announces 3 candidates in Punjab: Union minister’s wife candidate from Hoshiarpur
Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released its second list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Punjab.
In this, former IAS officer Parampal Kaur Sidhu from Bathinda, Anita Somprakash from Hoshiarpur and Manjit Singh Manna from Khadoor Sahib have been given tickets.
Earlier on March 30, the BJP had released the first list of Lok Sabha candidates and six candidates were announced.
These include Sushil Rinku from Jalandhar, Ravneet Singh Bittu from Ludhiana, Preneet Kaur from Patiala, Hans Raj Hans from Faridkot, Dinesh Babbu from Gurdaspur and Taranjit Singh Sandhu from Amritsar. The BJP has not fielded sitting MP Sunny Deol from Gurdaspur this time. He was constantly being questioned for being absent from the Lok Sabha constituency.
