BJP ‘pack of lies’, won’t join it again: Navjot Sidhu
Chandigarh: Former Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu said that the BJP government, currently seated at the Centre, is constructing a pack of lies across the country, leaving no room for individuals like him to express dissent.
Sidhu affirmed his commitment to the Congress party, declaring that he will neither abandon it nor turn his back on the BJP, despite its deceitful tactics.
Navjot Sidhu emphasized that his inquiries will persist regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s false assertions, including the fabrication of depositing Rs 15 lakh into every Indian’s account, the hollow pledge of creating 2 crore jobs annually for the youth, and the deception surrounding the retrieval of black money.
Refuting speculations about his potential switch to the BJP, Sidhu highlighted his father Bhagwant Singh’s allegiance to the Congress, considering it his guiding principle for maintaining national unity. Consequently, he asserted that he would never seek entry into the BJP fold.
Regarding the February 11 rally, he clarified that he wouldn’t attend uninvited but would eagerly receive All India Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge with open arms.
