Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann interacts with flood- affected people

Visits Khanpur and Desu Majra of Kharar Constituency and distributes ration to the needy

SAS Nagar: Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann visited Khanpur and Desu Majra today and lent a patient ear to the people affected by the recent heavy rains .The minister reached Khanpur and Desu Majra of Kharar constituency and interacted with the rain-affected people and took full stock of the damage caused to them.

      The flood victims narrated their tale of woes and apprised the minister of their loss due to heavy rain. The minister also distributed ration to the needy people as immediate help.
Divulging more information in this regard, the Minister said that the flood was a natural calamity which had occurred due to continuous rain in the plains and hilly areas. She said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will provide all possible assistance to the rain-affected people. She said that appropriate orders have been given to the administration to help the people affected by the heavy rain.
She said that there is no dearth of funds to cope with this emergency situation. She said that there is no need to panic, the Punjab government is always standing with them in this time of distress.
On this occasion, SDM Kharar Ravinder Singh, Chairman, Kharar Market Committee Harnek Singh and a large number of people were present.
