Cabinet Minister visits special camp under ‘AAP Di Sarkar, AAP De Dwar’ initiative
Jalandhar News: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh today reviewed the special camp organized under the ‘AAP Di Sarkar, AAP De Dwar’ initiative here in the premises of School of Eminence Kartarpur.
He instructed officials to prioritize the disposal of applications received at the camps and ensure that eligible applicants receive government services as soon as possible.
The Cabinet Minister said that the purpose of this initiative of Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is to provide government services near people’s homes and to ensure appropriate solutions to their various issues related to government departments/offices.
He mentioned that through these camps, the Punjab government is reaching out to people’s doorsteps to provide government services, and officials from various departments are addressing public’s issues near their homes.
He further stated that this initiative by the state government is proving to be very beneficial for the people as it saves their time and money, as they no longer need to visit government offices for their administrative work.
The Minister further directed the officials to ensure that people coming to the camps do not face any difficulties in receiving services.
During this, he also listened to the problems of people who arrived at the camp and directed the officials for appropriate solutions on the spot. He also handed over approval/acceptance letters to those receiving the services.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working with full honesty and dedication, continuously striving for the welfare of the state’s people.
He stated that it is the Aam Aadmi Party government that has taken several people-friendly decisions like 600 units of free electricity, Aam Aadmi Clinics, Schools of Eminence, government jobs, and the 1076 helpline.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Mahajan, SDB Balbir Raj Singh, Cabinet Minister’s wife Harpreet Kaur, and officials from various departments were also present on the occasion.
