Case registered against NRI on sexual harassment charges in Ludhiana

Chandigarh: Gurpreet Kaur, estranged wife of Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, MLA from Sanaur constituency of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in the Punjab Assembly, has filed a case of molestation against canada-based elderly Nachhatar Singh, a resident of village Ghuman in Ludhiana district.

Police have registered a case against NRI Nachhatar Singh under Section 75 of the new Indian Justice Act and initiated legal proceedings.

The investigation of the case has been handed over to SHO Kuldeep Singh. According to investigating officer Kuldeep Singh, action is being initiated to bring back Nachhatar Singh, a resident of Mississauga, Canada, to India.
