Case registered against Tarksheel Society president for making objectionable remarks against Ram temple

Chandigarh: The Ludhiana police have registered a case against Surjit Daudhar, president of The Tarksheel Society, on the complaint of the Shiv Sena leader.

“Shiv Sena Punjab chairman Rajiv Tandon has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that in a video that has gone viral on Facebook, Surjit Daudhar has used wrong and objectionable words about the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya during an interview. Based on the complaint, the police had hurt religious sentiments, the police official said.
