Chandigarh administration stops registration of non-electric two-wheelers

Punjabenews: The Chandigarh administration has decided to stop the registration of two-wheeler non-electric bikes. No non-electric two-wheelers will be registered from February 10 to March 30.

According to the information received, the Chandigarh Administration has taken this decision after the implementation of the electric vehicle policy. This step has been taken due to the completion of this year’s non-electric vehicle target.
Now the registration of two-wheelers will be possible from April 1.
Officials said that aim of this decision is to achieve the objective of eco-friendly and green transport in the city and promote electric vehicle.
