Christian leader accused of excesses, two women seek Akal Takht’s intervention

Amritsar: Two women alleging misconduct by Christian leader Pastor Bajinder met acting Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj at the Sri Akal Takht Secretariat on Saturday, seeking justice.

The women detailed their experiences to the Jathedar, who assured them of full support and urged the government to take strict action against the accused religious leader.

Speaking to the media, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj said that Sri Akal Takht has always stood by the oppressed. He added that the institution would provide all possible assistance to ensure justice for the victims and called on leaders of all religions to support those facing injustice.
