CM approves Rs 11 hike in sugarcane price
Jalandhar: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today approved an increase of about Rs 11 per quintal in the price of sugarcane (State Agrid Price) for the year 2023-24. The Punjab government had held a meeting with farmer unions in the past and after that discussed the issue of increase in sugarcane prices with sugarcane mill owners.
The Chief Minister had already hinted at giving good news about the hike in sugarcane prices soon, but Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann gave this information on the twitter on Friday morning.
