CM Bhagwant Mann meets kin of Sangrur hooch tragedy, assures all possible help

Chandigarh: 21 people have died in 4 days due to consumption of poisonous liquor. The worst affected area is Sangrur. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has returned to Punjab and reached Sangrur directly after the ongoing protest in Delhi against the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal. Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema is also meeting the families of the victims.

CM Bhagwant Mann has assured the families of the victims that the matter is being thoroughly investigated by the administration. All possible help will be provided to the families of the victims by the government. Strict action will also be taken against the culprits. During this, people raised the issue of drugs being sold in the area on which Bhagwant Mann said that he has been told by the people. The drug peddlers will be caught by tomorrow, he added.
