CM listens grievances of people during Sarkar Tuhaade Dwaar at Jalandhar
Jalandhar: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday held Sarkaar Tuhaade Dwaar program at his official residence in the city and resolved the grievances of people.
The Chief Minister during interaction with people said that this first of its kind initiative is aimed at facilitating the people. He said that now the governments are not run from Chandigarh but it is being managed from the cities and towns across the state. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that now the officers are visiting villages to resolve the grievances of people whereas earlier they had to visit the government offices.
The Chief Minister said that he had set up his residence in Jalandhar so as to facilitate people from Majha and Doaba region for getting their works done. He said that it is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction that people who are coming here with complaints are getting their works done. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this scheme is delivering the desired results and is acting as a catalyst for resolving the issues of public on one hand and ensuring feedback to the government on other.
Meanwhile, a woman who had came all the way from Ludhiana praised the Chief Minister for this unique initiative. She said that her matter has been pending since years as none of the previous governments had ever bothered to get her work done. However, she said that now the Chief Minister has patiently heard him and passed on necessary directions to get her work done.
Meanwhile, Sukhwinder Kaur who had also came to meet the Chief Minister said that this is a laudable step aimed at mitigating woes of common man. She said that the Chief Minister has given necessary directions to officers for getting her work done at the earliest. She said that this initiative of the Chief Minister is unmatchable as none of the other leaders had bothered about it.
Another lady Jasvir Kaur, who had came from village Kot Kalan, said that her husband had died few years back and since then she had been given mental trauma by her in laws. She said that she had met the Chief Minister, who had passed on the necessary directions to the officers for early resolution. She said that this initiative by the Chief Minister is proving a boon for the residents of the state especially the common man.
Meanwhile, Jagdish Singh a youth who met the Chief Minister said that his father was a cop who had suffered disability due to mishap during service. He said that his father was forcibly retired after which he is seeking job himself on compassionate ground. He said that the Chief Minister has sympathetically heard him and assured to solve his case on priority adding that this is a great initiative which is ensuring well being of common man.
Another man from Gurdaspur also hailed the Chief Minister for this unique initiative. He said that such camps must be replicated in all the cities of the state so that people are benefitted from it.
A man from Raiya flagged the issue of PSPCL in his city and urged the Chief Minister to work for its immediate redressal of his problem. Ashwani Kumar from Gurdaspur also lauded the Chief Minister for taking this historic initiative to ensure the well being of the common man. Vijay Kumar from Jalandhar also lauded the Chief Minister for taking this historic step to benefit the common man by solving their problems.
Amanpreet Kaur Nijjer apprised that her uncle had applied for tube well connection in 2016 but had not got it despite running pillar to post. She said that they had met the Chief Minister who has ordered that the work should be done on top priority. Sukhjit Singh Walia from Jalandhar also lauded the Chief Minister for taking this historic initiative offer the services to people at their doorsteps.
