CM Mann calls cabinet meeting on Aug 29

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has called a meeting of the council of ministers ahead of the monsoon session of the state assembly beginning September 2.

The Cabinet meeting will be held on the second floor of the Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 at 11 am on Thursday. Earlier on August 14, a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of CM Mann.

In the cabinet meeting held on August 14, it was announced to provide basic facilities to people living in illegal colonies in Punjab.

With this, it was decided in the cabinet to abolish the obligation of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for property registration in illegal colonies where purchase transactions have been done before 31 July 2024.
