CM Mann hits back at governor, says unfortunate that Governor doesn’t know if summoning session in June was legal
Punjab E News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann once again targeted Governor Banwari Lal Purohit. Mann made a strong comment on the question raised by the Governor regarding the Assembly session called by the Punjab government. Mann said it was surprising that the governor was questioning him.
He said that the government called the session only after consulting experts. This has not happened for the first time. This has happened even during the time of Captain Amarinder Singh.
Mann was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the departure of a team of 72 teachers from Punjab to Singapore. During this, Mann also made a statement on the alliance made by the opposition parties for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. “The Punjab Congress is saying we are not with the Aam Aadmi Party. We are an opposition party. In such a situation, how will this alliance run?”
