CM Mann, Kejriwal administer anti-drug oath to 6,000 children in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal administered an anti-drug oath to 6,000 children in Ludhiana on April 2. A march past was also held, flagged off by both leaders.

The event saw high enthusiasm among students, with elaborate security arrangements made by the district police. Over 1,000 police personnel were deployed on city roads. Mann and Kejriwal also addressed the public about the ongoing campaign against drugs.

AAP workers in Vidhan Sabha Halka West prepared to welcome the padayatra. The two leaders will stay in Ludhiana until 2 pm before returning to Chandigarh. On April 3, they are scheduled to visit ITI.

As part of the oath, children pledged to stay away from drugs, encourage others to do the same, and report drug-related activities without fear.
