CM Mann questions Bajwa’s claim of bombs planted in Punjab
Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday took a swipe at senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa over his claim that nearly 50 bombs had been planted across the state.
Earlier in the day, Bajwa, during an interview with a TV channel, said that bombs had been supplied to Punjab — some of which had already been used while others were yet to be.
Responding to the remark, Mann questioned whether Bajwa had direct links with Pakistan, suggesting that such sensitive information could only be known through external sources.
The chief minister’s remarks come amid growing political tensions in the state, with both the ruling AAP and the opposition Congress trading barbs over law and order.
