CM Mann rides bicycle to mark martyrdom day of Martyr Kartar Sarabha in Ludhiana, says drugs menace will be annihilated from Punjab

Ludhiana News: A cycle rally was taken out at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana today to mark the martyrdom day of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha. It was flagged off by CM Bhagwant Mann. During this time, the CM also rode a bicycle.
“This is not a political rally. This rally is not a show of strength. The purpose of this rally is to bring out the youth who are trapped in the swamp of drugs,” he said.
He said that Punjab has the highest number of martyrs and today drug addiction has to be eradicated from the land of martyrs.
“We have endured the attacks of swords and arrows in the soil of Punjab. Now the attack of drugs has also been from the soil of Punjab. Punjab has given a befitting reply to every attack. Now drugs will also be eliminated and defeated.”
Bhagwant Mann said that today there is a wave of eradication of drugs in the state. Punjab, which was once badly caught in the swamp of drugs, has started becoming a colorful Punjab of Gidda and Bhangra again. He said that 2200 police personnel will be recruited every year.
