CM Mann to dedicate Goindwal thermal plant to public on Feb 11
Chandigarh: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has finally achieved full charge of the 540 MW Goindwal thermal plant.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will dedicate this thermal plant to Punjabis at a rally in Khadur Sahib constituency on February 11. PSPCL has given Rs 1080 crore to the bankers for the purchase of thermal.
After this, the shares of Thermal have been transferred to Guru Amardas Thermal Plant Limited. The Punjab government recently bought this thermal plant for Rs 1080 crore.
After about one and a half months of various paper and other formalities, now Goindwal Thermal Plant has been included in the public sector.
