CM Mann to receive second batch of deportees from US at Amritsar airport

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will receive the second batch of Indian nationals deported from the US at Amritsar airport tomorrow. Mann is scheduled to leave for Amritsar today.

According to sources, the Chief Minister is concerned about the return of the aircraft carrying the deported citizens to Amritsar.

He suspects that the second landing of the US aircraft in Amritsar is part of a conspiracy by the BJP-led central government to defame Punjab.

Mann said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also returning from the US and suggested it would have been more appropriate for Modi to bring the citizens back with him.
