CM Mann’s new strategy! ‘Now Patwaris to mark attendance through biometric’
Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday said that Punjab government would not allow a single patwari circle out of 3,660 in Punjab to remain vacant.
He said that from now on patwaris and kanungos will have to mark their attendance using the biometric system.
CM Mann says that he has been receiving a lot of complaints that the employees have hired people on very low salaries, who fill the attendance of the employees in their place, and they themselves do not work diligently. That’s why the Mann government took this decision.
He said that the 741 newly recruited Patwaris, who have been sent on 18-month training, have completed 15 months of training and now they will be put on duty in the field at once.
