Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath’s family meets Punjab CM, seeks CBI probe
Chandigarh: The family of Colonel Pushpinder Singh Bath met Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday, demanding justice in the alleged assault case involving police personnel outside Rajindra Hospital in Patiala.
During the meeting at the chief minister’s official residence, the family reiterated their demand for a CBI probe, expressing a lack of confidence in the Punjab Police.
Colonel Bath’s wife, Jaswinder Kaur Bath, along with family members and supporters, traveled from Patiala to Chandigarh for the meeting.
Colonel Bath also demanded the replacement of SSP Patiala Dr. Nanak Singh, asserting that he did not trust the ongoing investigation. The chief minister assured the family of a fair probe and justice in the case.
