Congress MLA from Phillaur Vikramjit Chaudhary suspended from party for anti-party activities
Chandigarh: Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary, MLA from Phillaur in Jalandhar, has been suspended from the party. Punjab Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav has issued orders in this regard.
Yadav has taken action against Chaudhary for making anti-party statements and continuously making provocative speeches against party candidates.
Yadav has suspended Chaudhary with immediate effect till further orders. Even Chaudhary has been removed from all party posts. Yadav has informed state president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and leader of opposition Partap Singh Bajwa about this order.
In the order, in-charge Yadav said that he was personally warned by the party several times to make statements against the party and the candidate. Despite this, action was taken when his anti-party activities did not decrease.
