Congress names Bharat Bhushan Ashu as Ludhiana West candidate

Ludhiana: The Congress on Friday announced Bharat Bhushan Ashu as its candidate for the vacant Ludhiana West Assembly seat.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge approved Ashu’s candidature, Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal said in a statement.

The Aam Aadmi Party has already named Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora as its candidate for the constituency.
