Covid-19 scare in Chandigarh, administration makes it mandatory to wear masks, know details 

The country is experiencing a resurgence in coronavirus cases. Consequently, the central government issued an advisory to state governments emphasizing the necessity of taking precautions during the upcoming festive season for public safety. 
      Following suit, the Health Department of Chandigarh has also issued a new advisory concerning COVID-19. In response to the emergence of a new variant, the Chandigarh administration has made a significant decision: masks are once again mandated in the city. 
Officials have urged people in crowded areas to wear masks and advised against visiting such places. Additionally, wearing masks has been made compulsory for individuals visiting hospitals.
      The advisory states that if symptoms like fever, cold and difficulty in breathing appear, then consult a doctor immediately. If a person is found to be corona positive, then he will have to immediately isolate himself for 7 days. The administration has advised people in crowded areas to wear masks.
