CU student dies after jumping from water tank

Chandigarh: A student of Chandigarh University committed suicide by jumping from a water tank in Gharuan village under Kharar, Punjab.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Sumit Chakra. He hailed from Haryana and had come to Kharar to study. Friends told the police that the deceased had attempted suicide even before.
