Dallewal’s life more precious than any movement: SC orders Punjab govt

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal, who is on a hunger strike at the Khanauri border in Haryana and Punjab.

The Supreme Court has directed the Punjab and central governments to provide immediate medical assistance to Dallewal and not force him to eat. The court said Dallewal’s life was more important than the movement.
