DAV College Jalandhar Observes Police Commemoration Day

Jalandhar News: The PG Department of Mathematics at DAV College, Jalandhar, observed Police Commemoration Day today, paying tribute to the sacrifices and services of police personnel. The event honored the Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar Swapan Sharma, for his exemplary service to the city.

       Dr. S.K. Tuli Vice Principal of the college, expressed heartfelt gratitude to CP Swapan Sharma for his unwavering dedication and commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.

Ms. Ranjita Guglani, President of the Bansi Lal Mathematical Society, presented the Commissioner with a planter as a symbol of appreciation, accompanied by MSc Mathematics students Sujal and Shweta, who also extended their respect.

       In a message Dr.Rajesh Kumar Principal , DAV College Jalandhar sent his best wishes for the occasion, lauding the police department for its invaluable contribution to society and their relentless efforts in ensuring the safety and security of the community.

         Police Commemoration Day is observed on October 21 in India to honor the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.The day is also a reminder to express gratitude to the officers and the families of those who continue to serve and protect us every day.
