DC Jalandhar attends ‘Ravan Dahan’ at Burlton Park, Adarsh Nagar and Kishanpura

Jalandhar News: Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal along with his family attended ‘Ravan Dahan’ at Burlton Park, Aadarsh Nagar and Kishanpura on Tuesday evening on the occasion of Dusehrra festival.

   DC Sarangal was chief guest in these functions and congratulated all the Jalandharites a very happy Vijayadashami. The festival symbolises the victory of good over evil, added Sarangal while addressing the people. This pious day marks the end of negative forces and brings the message of embracing the good in life.

     The Deputy Commissioner said that we all should take a pledge to end evils in the society.
On the occasion, Sarangal’s wife Dr Preet Kamal and daughters were also present.
