Started from Jalandhar, Punjabi Bulletin Channel in 3 years has won the hearts of Punjabi audience with its reporting. The channel covers issues related to Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat as well as conducts discussions on them.
The channel was started by Founder Editor Imran Khan on January 1, 2020. Imran had worked in ABP News and Dainik Bhaskar for a decade before this startup. He tells about the journey of the channel- When we decided about this channel, the digital market was growing in India. 4G internet had become very cheap. The audience needed local content in the video. We worked on this theme. In January we launched the channel and in March entire India including Punjab was hit by Corona. During this period, we won the trust of the audience. Accurate information was most important for the audience during the Corona period. We continuously increased the knowledge of people and they kept joining us.

People’s expectations are more from digital channels. If digital channels win the trust of the audience, then they will not need to do much. Digital has the least time to verify news, but people go to digital channels first to watch news. Huh. The problem with digital channels is that all the channels are almost same for the viewers. It will take time to build trust. The sooner platforms like Facebook and YouTube verify the accounts of digital news channels, the sooner people’s trust will increase and the viewership will increase.
Regarding the future plans of Punjabi Bulletin, the editor says that right now we are completely focusing on regional content. Want to show the news related to Punjab and its analysis to the people.
