Direct flight from Amritsar to Bangkok to start on Oct 28
Amritsar: Thai Lion Air is set to launch a direct flight between Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar and Bangkok’s Don Muang International Airport starting October 28.
This new route will benefit travelers from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, who previously had to fly from Delhi to reach Thailand. The direct connection is expected to save both time and money for the large number of travelers visiting Thailand each year.
The airline will operate flights four days a week. Flights will depart from Bangkok every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8:10 PM, arriving in Amritsar at 11:25 PM Indian time after a journey of approximately four hours and 45 minutes.
Return flights from Amritsar will depart every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 12:25 AM, reaching Bangkok at 6:15 AM Thailand time.
