Don’t block highways, harass common people, we are fulfilling all demands: CM urges farmers

Punjab E News: Urging farmers to not harass common people and commuters by blocking roads and highways by holding frequent protests, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday said that it just caused nuisance to the people.

Addressing a press conference here, CM Mann said that organising protests has become a trend now. “Farmers held meeting with me and the government agreed to their demands. But it takes some time to fulfil them.”
He said that today, we fulfilled sugarcane hike price and sugarcane mills will be made functional on Nov 20. But farmers have been holding protests. This is not good and farmers should not harass common people. The AAP government is listening to them and working dedicatedly to fulfill all their genuine demands.
