Double murder in Talwandi Sabo: Father-son killed over dispute on pet dog
Chandigarh: A brutal double murder was reported in Talwandi Sabo, Punjab, late last night. Six drug-addicted miscreants attacked and killed a father and son outside their home, using sharp-edged weapons. The incident occurred following a dispute involving a domestic dog.
The victims, identified as Mandar Singh (55) and his son Amrik Singh (32), were residents of Jiwan Singh village. The attackers called Amrik to the gate of his house around 9:30 p.m. and ambushed him, along with four others hiding nearby. An argument escalated, leading to a violent assault on Amrik Singh. His father, Mandar, rushed out to intervene but was also fatally attacked.
The attackers also injured the mother, who was inside the house at the time.
Police have launched an investigation and a manhunt to apprehend the remaining accused. As of late evening, four suspects have been arrested. The incident has left the local community in shock.
