Drug case: Rajasthan police registers FIR against 10 Punjab police personnel for extortion, kidnapping
Chandigarh: The Rajasthan Jodhpur police have registered an FIR against 10 police personnel working in Punjab’s district Ludhiana.
The policemen have serious charges of kidnapping, extortion, forgery, criminal conspiracy and presenting false evidence.
It is alleged that the city police kidnapped a Jodhpur resident and implicated him in a drug smuggling case by claiming to have recovered 2 kg opium from him.
An FIR has been registered against Inderjit Singh, ASI Subhegh Singh and other policemen Maninder Singh, Gurpinder Singh, Sukhdeep Singh, Basant Lal, Dhanwant Singh, Harpreet Kaur, Satnam Singh, Raj Kumar and others.
