Drunk Driver crashes school bus into Wall in Jagraon

Ludhiana: Despite the recent bus accident involving Sanmati Vimal Jain School in Jagraon, Ludhiana district, the school administration has failed to take corrective measures. This negligence came to light when another private school bus driver, who was intoxicated, crashed the bus into a wall. Fortunately, the children escaped the accident unharmed. However, the villagers apprehended the bus driver and beat him severely.

During the incident, the driver was completely intoxicated. He admitted to drinking alcohol the previous night and consuming the leftover alcohol in the morning. He then proceeded to pick up 15-16 children from four different villages and drove to village Buchkar.

Due to his excessive intoxication, the bus collided directly with the wall of a house. Upon hearing the crash, villagers rushed out of their homes, rescued the children from the bus, and then began to assault the driver.
