ED seizes properties worth Rs 4.58 crore for Sadhu Singh Dharamsot
Chandigarh: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached assets worth Rs 4.58 crore belonging to Punjab Congress leader and former minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot and his sons under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The ED probe under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) found that Dharamsot had amassed assets disproportionate to the known sources of income of him and his son during the period March 1, 2016 to March 31, 2022. During this time he was working as the Forest Minister in Punjab.
