Fans flock to Ludhiana for Diljit Dosanjh’s year-end concert

Ludhiana: Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh, a global sensation, is set to conclude 2024 with a grand finale performance in his hometown of Ludhiana.

The event is being held at the Football Ground of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), with an estimated crowd of 40,000 to 50,000 expected to attend.

Marking his debut performance in Punjab, Diljit will bid farewell to 2024 and welcome the New Year with a special show. His team has made extensive arrangements for the event, which has created a wave of excitement among fans.

Diljit arrived in Ludhiana earlier this morning, starting his day by paying obeisance at Gurdwara Nanaksar. He then visited the Ashram of Service to Humanity in Mullanpur to meet people before heading to PAU to inspect the stage preparations.

Crowds began gathering outside the gates of PAU by 4 pm, with police completing security checks by 5 pm to allow entry. Fans from Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh traveled to Ludhiana for the concert.

A family from Surrey, Canada, also made a special trip to witness the performance. By 8 pm, queues of excited fans had formed inside and outside the venue, eagerly awaiting the show.

Diljit’s hometown performance is expected to be a memorable celebration, marking a fitting end to the year.
