Farmers marching to Delhi: Tear gas shells fired again on Punjab-Haryana border

New Delhi: Farmers who have been standing on the borders of Delhi for the last several days are once again trying to march in the capital.

Meanwhile, police and security forces are on full alert mode. Police once again fired tear gas shells to stop the farmers present on the Shambhu border of Haryana-Punjab from moving forward.

Tear gas shells were fired on farmers through drones. There was a stampede after the police fired tear gas shells.

The farmers had announced to enter Delhi at 11 am today, after which the farmers were trying to move beyond the border. The police used force to stop them from moving forward. About 14,000 farmers are preparing to storm Delhi with 12,000 tractors. But the police do not want any lapses like 2021 this time. Taking a lesson from the previous protest march, the police have made strong security arrangements this time.

Security forces have been deployed everywhere and every movement of the farmers is being monitored.
